I was hired as a part-time social media manager for The Old Town Shop, a gift shop in Old Town Alexandria, VA specializing in unique gifts and home goods that celebrate Alexandria’s history and artisan culture.
Every day I posted to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, highlighting either town events, historical trivia, or shop products. Unfortunately, I had to stop working with The Old Town Shop in September 2017, after my schedule became severely limited due to a new full-time position.

On 2 September 2017, I created a short 30-second video to commemorate the anniversary of Alexandria’s vote to retrocede from D.C. and re-join the Commonwealth of Virginia. The video was both a reminder of Alexandria’s history and a promotion of The Old Town Shop’s book selection. Watch the video on YouTube.
