Created as a local-economy initiative for Arlington, Massachusetts, ACN needed a brand for its project launch. With input from other Board members, I created the logo and graphic components used throughout all print and web materials. I provided photography to reflect Arlington’s businesses, history, and town culture, and I created a promotional package for member businesses. For town residents, I created a “buy local” incentive card for those who signed up on ACN’s member site.
My main role was creating a monthly Town Calendar, distributed to member businesses and given free to town residents. The calendar featured timely content about Arlington’s economy and business culture, along with articles and a large monthly calendar. I managed all aspects of the Town Calendar, including content, layout, and production.
When Tammy joined us for the launch of Arlington Community Network, we were able to greatly improve our initial outreach due to her brand and design capabilities. Tammy worked with us to identify a print and online presence for our organization that was a perfect reflection of our ties to the community, as well as an ideal manifestation of our mission, to improve local-economy growth for the Town of Arlington.
Working with Tammy was a pleasure, as she inherently understands the perspectives of stakeholders and the need for content and brand as a complement for all aspects of an organization. From preparing printed sales materials, to working with the Website development team, to creating and managing a monthly publication that was well-received by so many in the business community, Tammy’s talent and collaborative nature was a huge benefit to both the Board of Directors and the organization overall.
